The Studio

I work from my studio in Crossover Victoria, approximately 15 minutes from Warragul (West Gippsland) and 13 km’s from the Princes Hwy (Monash Freeway from Melbourne). I live here on 9 acres with my husband Chris, our two dogs ‘Garth’ and ‘Tess’ and horse ‘Billy’. Wild Parrots come every morning for breakfast and generally we enjoy a lush, green landscape surrounded by dairy farms and bushland. Just perfect for an artist who needs to be a hermit most of the time….

During the previous couple of months we’ve been working hard to renovate my new studio space. We had an old dairy on the property (over 100 years old) and it had been converted into horse stables before ending up as a storage shed for hay. Perfect!

We have used a mix of new and recycled building materials, put in windows, concreted floors, fixed leaking roofs and added insulation… and WOW! It is still a work in progress, we are currently cutting in the driveway from Pilgrim Creek Track and I’m looking forward to the carport and some running water….
