Purchasing Art Work
It is very exciting when you make the decision to purchase artworks. I too enjoy collecting works from various artists and I love living within the inspiring and powerful environment a great art collection creates. To me, a great art collection is one that inspires ’YOU’ personally, it gives you great energy and motivates creative thinking and feeling to all.
If you are not collecting purely for investment purposes, I would encourage you to purchase a piece of work that you simply fall in love with (even if you don’t know why or wouldn’t know where to put it). When you purchase individual works that resonate with you, all works will resonate within your space. This creates such an exciting energy, you will love coming home and what a great bonus if it turns out to be your best investment!
If you feel that my work resonates with you on some level it would be a good idea to look at the work ‘in the flesh’. Images don’t portray size and texture, nor the intricate colour layers and mark making that make my work ‘unique’. It’s ideal if you can view works in one of my representing galleries (Red Sea Gallery Brisbane & Singapore or Abi Edwards Gallery in Tonimbuk Victoria) or here at my studio in Crossover (by appointment only).
