Artist’s Statement

Kerrie is an established abstract expressionist artist, poet and dear friend.  Kerrie has a beautiful face, but she is also a beautiful person who inspires everyone she meets, because she radiates positive energy.

Kerrie makes you feel as though anything is possible, and I really wanted to try to capture that wonderful gift.  I chose to paint her as a ‘Child of the Universe’, because I see her as a profoundly spiritual person who draws her own personal exploration and intimate connections to her world.

This gentle insightfulness enables her to create sublime works of art, which are full of warmth, movement and power.
