3. China Influence

‘China Influence’ 2007 / 2008

This series of work ‘China Influence’ has been created in response to my Cultural Exchange to China with the ‘Wild Dogs from Down Under’ in 2007

I felt stimulated by the Patterns and Linear Effects within my Abstract Expressionism - The atmosphere in China was thick and layered and the sun tried to push through.  The people are busy, yet organised and patterns were to be found everywhere…

I felt the urge to push and expand this aspect of my work.  Currently most of the series is exhibiting at Bradley Hall Fine Art Gallery, 12 Old Telegraph Road West,  Drouin West (studio of artist Gary Miles) and a couple of pieces are on their way to the Guangzhou International Art Fair in December 2008!

Bradley Hall Fine Art Gallery is open Weekends and Public Holidays between 11am - 5pm or by appointment.  Ph: 03 5626 8355
